UP TO 25% INCREASED WINDOW AREA

One key aspect of modern architecture is the use of large window elements designed to illuminate spaces and create a sense of openness. With the LUMAXX system, installed windows can achieve the effect of exceptionally narrow window frames, resulting in up to a 25% increase in glazed area and improved access to natural light.

VISIBLY SLIMMER WINDOW FRAMES

Here are the direct comparison results: The new LUMAXX system has noticeably smaller dimensions compared to previous profile combinations. Previous designs with movable mullions often occupied up to 170mm of window width or more. These bulky structures with wide mullions obstructed the window’s silhouette and significantly limited the flow of light into the room. Thanks to the new LUMAXX window system, using lowered profiles and achieving the effect of a delicate, slender window has finally become possible without compromising on comfort and security.

OPTIMAL GEOMETRY

During the development of the LUMAXX system, all window profile geometries have been optimized to minimize their height. Designers also ensured a balanced proportion between thermal insulation properties and the window’s structural integrity, as well as ideal hardware element alignment. Furthermore, the symmetrical construction of the mullion allows for flexible application in various types of windows.

NO COMPROMISES

Although „slim profile” was an absolute priority in designing this system, no compromises were made regarding the structural integrity of the new window frame or mullion. Both of these elements use uniform steel, which, thanks to its static properties, allows for the construction of white windows up to 2.30m in height and colored windows up to 2.20m in height. In combination with the STV® bonding technology, it is even possible to achieve elements up to 2.50m in height for white profiles or 2.40m for colored profiles.
