MB-86EI ​

The MB-86EI fire-resistant window, door, and partition system with thermal insulation is designed for the construction of external fire-resistant partitions equipped with openable windows, doors, and fixed partitions with main fire resistance classes EI30, EW30, EI15 according to the PN-EN 13501-2 standard. The design is based on the MB-86 system, providing it with high thermal and acoustic insulation as well as water and air tightness.

The MB-86EI system combines the advantages of a classic window and door system with the properties of fire-resistant partitions in terms of thermal parameters, utility strength, and production technology. The structures made with it meet all the requirements of applicable regulations and standards, especially those related to energy efficiency and environmental protection, while ensuring appropriate fire safety. The system is classified as non-fire-propagating (NRO).

Advantages of the MB-86EI system:

  • Three-chambered profiles, where the central part consists of an insulating chamber between thermal spacers with a width of 43 or 42 mm.
  • Fire insulation elements in the internal chambers of aluminum sections, along with special accessories and materials functioning in the space between aluminum sections and glass.
  • For EI2 class doors, the use of fire insulation elements in the internal chambers of aluminum sections is not required, which contributes to faster prefabrication and lower construction costs. In window structures, inserts are required in frame profiles and mullions.
  • A wide range of possible glass thicknesses allows for the use of various types of insulated glass units, including double-glazed sets.
  • Hardware used in MB-86EI windows is standardly in the RC2 anti-burglary class.

  • Watertightness: windows class E 1500 Pa, doors: class E1350 Pa EN 12208
  • Wind load resistance: windows: class C5, doors: class C1/B1, EN 12210
  • Thermal insulation: windows: Uf from 1.07 W/(m2K), Uw from 0.86 W/(m2K)*
  • Fire resistance: class EI30, EW30, EI15
