The thickness of the infills in the MB-78EI system ranges from 6 to 49 mm. The infills can consist of all typical fire-resistant glass types, as well as layered non-transparent elements made of sheet metal and appropriate panels providing the required fire protection. Within this system, smoke-sealing constructions can also be achieved.

Available within the system are angle connections of panels, the possibility of bending profiles and constructing arched structures, as well as the use of diagonal ties and decorative muntins adhered to the glass, which are features influencing the shapes and aesthetics of the structure.

The permissible dimensions of the construction include fixed partitions with a height of up to 4 m and swing doors with leaf dimensions of 1.4 x 2.5 m. MB-78EI system doors can be installed both individually and as part of larger glazed partition constructions, as well as in fire-resistant facades of MB-SR50EI and MB-SR50N EI systems. The system offers extensive design possibilities, the freedom to choose various hinges, locks, self-locking mechanisms, and other fittings, along with an optimized production technology, are not the only advantages of this system. It also allows for the production of automatically sliding MB-78EI DPA doors with fire resistance classes EI15 or EI30. Additionally, it forms the basis for the construction of mullion-transom walls MB-78EI, walls MB-118EI, enabling the achievement of fire resistance class EI120.

The MB-78EI system is covered by the technical approval of ITB No. AT-15-6006/2016 and the British CERTIFIRE certificate No. CF 5138.
