MB-60E EI

system is designed for the production of single- and double-leaf fire doors, both for internal and external use. Additionally, this system allows the creation of so-called technical windows and fire-resistant partition walls. Constructions based on the MB-60E EI system meet fire resistance standards of EI15 or EI30 according to the PN-EN 13501-2+A1 norm. The doors can also fulfill smoke-tightness requirements in the S200, Sa class, according to the PN-EN 13501-2+A1 norm. The system is classified as non-fire spreading (NRO).

This solution is based on aluminum profiles with thermal breaks from the MB-60E system, with a construction depth of 60 mm. The fire resistance of the structure is ensured by fire insulation elements mounted in the internal chambers of the profiles. Additionally, the constructions are equipped with intumescent tapes, which act as an impassable barrier in case of a fire.

The system allows for the use of all standard fire-resistant glass classes EI15 and EI30 with a thickness ranging from 5 to 41 mm. Unlike other fire-resistant systems, in the MB-60E EI system, the glass is mounted using glazing beads on the internal side. Special steel accessories secure the glass from falling out during a fire.

The MB-60E EI system allows for the production of doors with maximum leaf dimensions: width (S) up to 1.4 m, height (H) up to 2.475 m. The width of leaves in double-leaf doors can be up to 2.58 m. Due to its design capabilities and compatibility with other systems from the MB series, this solution is often a highly attractive proposition in the class of products providing fire protection.
