MB-118EI system relies on thermally insulated, five-chamber aluminum profiles with a construction depth of 118 mm. Fire insulation elements are incorporated into both the internal chambers of the profiles and the insulation spaces between them. Intumescent tapes are additionally applied to the external surfaces, and the entire structure is complemented by steel accessories that connect both parts of the profiles. Fillings in the partitions of the MB-118EI system can range in thickness from 48 to 84 mm. Due to its symmetrical construction, structures made from it maintain fire resistance in the EI120 class, both in the case of fire exposure from the external and internal sides. An important feature that enhances the functionality of these fire partitions is the ability to install MB-78EI doors within them.
